How
are your paintings done?
We
commission highly talented artists (local & international) to produce
100% hand painted works on canvas. We do not
use computer enhancements, canvas transfer, or any other such short cuts.
The results - vibrant oil-on-canvas paintings.
What
makes Excellence in Art unique?
We
carry both Original (one-of-a-kind artwork) and re-create Old Masters.
In order to insure the highest quality and accuracy,
we limit our recreations to a maximum of two images per single masterpiece
per year. Other companies try to follow our marketing concept and employ
mediocre artists in order to reproduce in much higher quantities - this
detracts from quality and attention to detail. In addition, we
meticulously assemble, stretch, and varnish your paintings, using a
natural substance called Damar (also used by the Old Masters, Damar can be
removed and cleaned even after 300 years).
Can
your artists produce any paintings? Even family portraits?
We
currently have 3,300 paintings on display in our showroom. In
addition, we have recently commissioned our
artists to create 500 new pieces to add to our collection. If by chance
you don't find the painting you are looking for in our present on-line
collection, our artist might have already started working on it, or we can
custom create the image of your choice.
What
style of art works do you have?
In
addition to the recreated museum masterpieces, approximately 60% of our
collection are original works of art painted
by contemporary artists of today. Included in these two categories you
will find paintings that are in the Renaissance style, as well as classic
and modern Impressionism. We have portraits from the Romantic period; Also
landscapes, florals and still-life's from both Classical and Contemporary
times, plus much more.
What
is the delivery time frame?
We
stocked all oil painting that is shown on our website, therefore we can
deliver within the same day or next day. Unless the artwork needs
to be stretched, varnished and framed, we need at least 3 working days for
us to ship. We use UPS Standard and you will usually receive the
artwork within 3 –5 days.
How
accurate are the images shown on the website versus the actual painting?
The
paintings are quite accurate because we used a sophisticated Digital
Camera to take pictures of our images. We are willing to email you more
close up pictures/ image of your desired paintings upon request if needed
be.
How
can I choose which frame to match a particular Painting?
Once
we know your decorative motif, We can suggest to you the proper frame and
can even e-mail you the painting with variation of frames attached.
How
much is the assembly, shipping, handling and Insurance charge for the
artwork?
Shipping/handling
charge for unstretched canvas painting: $18
-$25
For paintings with frames: $40
and up depending on size and weight
Insurance charge is 0.50cent per hundred dollar
Assembly charge which include stretcher woodframe, stretching and
varnishing:
8x10= $15
12x16=$20
16x20=$30
20x24=$35
24x36=$40
30x40=$50
36x48=$60
Shipper: UPS Standard, Post Office, or courier of your choice.
"SOLD"
can be custom ordered upon request.
It usually take between 6-10 weeks to custom order a painting; depending
on the complication of the artwork. We will only give you an in-store
credit for unsatisfied custom artwork, less the cost of
shipping/handling/insurance charges to and from.
MONEY-BACK
RETURN POLICY:
If for some
reason you are not happy with the paintings you’ve purchase, you may
return it or exchange it within 2 weeks and we will refund your money less
shipping, handling, insurance, brokerage & applicable duty (only applicable if painting had not been
stretched and framed) All Sales Final for framed paintings. In-store
credit for unsatisfied custom artwork.
